We are providing various services to farmers of our operational area

Soil & Water Testing Laboratory

Soil parameters viz pH, EC, Organic carbon, available phosphorous and potassium, micronutrient like zinc, iron and boron are being tested and recommendation for the same. Water is also tested for pH, EC, and TDS. Concerned information is given to the farmer in the form of soil health card.


Plant Health Clinic Lab

  • Farmers are being faciliated for dignosis of insect –pest attack and infestation of diseases in various field crops.
  • Prescriptions for remedial measures to manage the insect-pest and diseases are being suggested to farmers.
  • Farmers are also motiviated for protection meassures through eco-friendly IPM & IDM practices.

    • Bio-fertilizer Lab

    This unit producing microbial inoculants viz. Rhizobium, Azotobactor, Bacillus (PSB) Trichoderma, etc and providing to the farmers for seed and soil treatment. These are helpful to the farmers for bio-logical management of seed and soil born diseases as well as fixation and solubilization of plant nutrients to make them available to all field crops.


    Model Nursery

    This unit is producing quality and quantity planting materials of arid fruits, ornamental, shadow plants and seasonal vegetables. This is to provide planting material and seasonal vegetables to farmers of concern area at nominal price. Special focus on desert fruit plants like ber, Pomegranate, Karonda, beal, etc is given to promote the same.


    Seed Processing Unit

    We are providing grading facility of various seed materials like cluster bean, barley, wheat, etc on custom hiring basis.


    Farmers Hostel

    Well furnished 6 rooms (common toilet and bathroom) with dining facility for accommodating farmers during training or related events in farmer’s hostel at KVK premise is available. Lodging and boarding facilities is also available in the Farmer’s Hostel at nominal charges.


    Aloevera Processing Unit

    This unit is producing fresh and healthy aloevera juice. These juices are extracted and then packed in 500 and 1000 ml bottle at KVK and other outlet for sale at nominal price. Aloevera has its medicinal value hence can be sold to our beneficiary farmers as well as to general public.


    Azolla Unit

    A small Azolla unit is developed by creating suitable physical condition at KVK. This unit is being developed to make option for green fodder available to farmers and to provide seed material of Azolla to farmers and dairy purposes. Azolla has its own nutritional benefits hence has find its way to reach number of families as green fodder specially fodder stressed areas of this arid zone.


    Seminar-cum-Exhibition Hall

    Well furnished Seminar-cum-Exhibition Hall which is equipped with LCD Projector, Public Address System, Round conference table with luxury chairs. It can accommodate 200 members/farmers at a time and available for trainings and other conference purpose of line departments.
