The ultimate aim of KVK is to raise the source of income in rural areas by increasing production and productivity at farmers field. The KVKs are the focal points for providing the latest agriculture techniques, information. To achieve goals it is necessary to create awareness among the farming community and impart them necessary knowledge/skill for which the following activities were carried out by this KVK.

Capacity Building of farmers/farm women/rural youths to update their knowledge and skills in modern agricultural technologies.

• Training of extension personnel to orient them in the frontier areas of technology development.
• Conducting vocational training and developing entrepreneurial skills among rural youth to attract and retain them in agriculture. On Campus Training, Off Campus Training,Vocational Training, In-service/ Extension Functionaries Training, Sponsored Training.
• Front Line Demonstrations to establish production potential of various crops and enterprises on the farmers’ field.
• On Farm Trials Conducting on-farm testing for assessment, refinement and dissemination of proven technologies.
